Welcome to my classroom! As a graduate of Oxford Schools, I am very proud to be a teacher in the district. I worked for Oxford Schools at the Crossroads for Youth Campus in a variety of positions for 18 years before coming to OMS. That wonderful experience has given me a sincere appreciation for a vast array of learners. I am so excited to share my passion and love of science with my students! In my classroom, I focus on problem solving and critical thinking skills through an exploration of the curriculum while accessing a variety of learning modalities. I also encourage my students to take their learning into their own hands and take ownership of their education as a gateway to their future. I use humor whenever possible and strive to instill confidence in my students while building a strong rapport to encourage all students to gain a high level of personal and educational success.

I have three amazing, wonderful children, all of whom are involved in competitive sports. I love to spend time with my family, the outdoors, gardening, soccer, hockey and baseball in addition to physical fitness and being a licensed Zumba® Fitness Instructor.
