Hello, my name is Ron Roop and I have been teaching in Oxford since 1993.  I am a graduate of Oxford High School, class of 1986.  Throughout the years in Oxford I have had the pleasure to teach Physical Education at the Elementary level as well as here at the Middle School.  I have also taught 8th grade Science, Science Technology and PLTW (Project Lead The Way).

I have coached Varsity Track (5 years) and Varsity Football (12 years) and was on the coaching staff in 1992 when Oxford won the State Championship in football with a 13-0 record.  Go Wildcats!!

Outside of school I enjoy spending time in the outdoors hunting, snowmobiling, fishing, and farming my property in Clare, MI.  I have a beautiful wife, Jennifer and two wonderful daughters, Maddie and Alyse.  I reside here in Oxford and love living in the community where I teach.
