As a high schooler, I learned that I have a love of education and more importantly being able to educate others. With that, in 2004 I began my teaching career in Charlotte, North Carolina at J.M. Alexander Middle School as a 7th and 8th grade history teacher. During my time there I acquired my National Boards Certification which shifted my teaching style to a holistic approach with my students. In 2012, my educational interest shifted to school administration which in turn brought me back to Oxford.
My experience in both positions has led me to the conclusion that:
-We all have purpose
-We all have a potential to reach
-My job as an educator is to help staff and students identify their purpose and reach their potential

I have been married to my lovely wife since July 2005. We have two sons, both of which are Oxford students. When it isn't hunting season, my family and I enjoy spending time together at our pool and enjoying our fire pit in the backyard.
