If you have to have a teacher for three years…Mr. Schmaltz from OMS would be the choice! You can’t go wrong with a funny (sometimes-haha), motivating, caring teacher! As he likes to say -“Don’t be sorry…be better.” Thank you for making your band students better! -Margaret M.
Not only is Mr. Schmaltz from OMS a fabulous teacher, but he is a great role model and trusted adult for so many students in Oxford. He genuinely cares about the children and goes out of his way to make sure they know. As a parent I appreciate all he does to go above and beyond and make the students feel safe and cared for in this transitional point in their lives. -Jessica J.
Mr. Schmaltz from OMS shows his love for students and music every day but, also any time he takes them out into public! He connects with all of his students and is happy to show off their amazing work during festivals and even in Chicago! Thank you Mr. Schmaltz for helping mold our kids into the respectful music lovers they are! -Katy H.

🌟This would not have been possible without the dedication and talent of OMS choir teacher, Sydnee Harahuc, art teacher, Laura Wilson, and let's not forget our talented students!
